Become an ASPIRER. Find your 'New York'.

YO.

WHATS UP.

I don't know how you ended up here, who you are or what you were currently doing 3 minutes ago but I'm glad you are spending some of the precious 86,400 seconds we have in a day reading this thing I created.

To be honest I have no clue what I am doing. I'm currently listening to "Boy Oh Boy" by Diplo and sitting at my uni before class starts. The whole idea for a blog came up a few weeks ago in my Technology Entrepreneurship class, where we have to answer a bunch of portfolio questions in a creative manner. Truth be told, I had even LESS clue what I was doing in that one than I have now, as you can see if you give it a quick read: https://mnromankin.wixsite.com/website (for some reason all the bloody writing is in bold).

BUT HERE WE ARE.

My names Misha Romankin, it's a pleasure to vicariously meet you through the power of words and the internet. I'm a 19 year old guy studying Business and Entrepreneurship at a college called Macleay College in Sydney, Australia. I'm pretty broke, sorta confused about what to do in life, and just generally enjoying being young, free and full of excitement for the future.

Who are you?

Where you from?

What are your biggest, most crazy dreams?

The point of this blog is to eventually create a community where crazy dreams and the PURSUIT OF THOSE DREAMS are the norm. Where self development and growing is the norm. Where human connection and helping others is the norm.

I've had crazy dreams for a while now. Dreams of creating the life I've always dreamed of. Do you have dreams? Crazy dreams? I hope so.

This blog is gonna be a bit of a mix in the beginning (and probably all the way through), a download of the transcript that runs through my mind daily. As we know, our thoughts are random, flitting in and out, around, swirling and disappearing. This blog isn't going to disappear but man we are in for a ride. Personally I love learning, developing my mindset, my habits and my knowledge. For the last few years I've been fascinated by and studying the skills and tools needed to create success financially, in fitness, in our personal lives, in business and professional lives. I've been fascinated by how we can create fulfilling lives, how to provide value and truly achieve what we were meant to. To create successful mindsets, mindsets that allow fulfilling lives and AMAZING experiences to learn from.

I DESPISE the idea of ending up in an office job, stuck in the same grey, monotonous circle of life. Living the same day, same weekend, same week, same month and same year over and over again until I open my eyes at 68 years old and think:

"Jesus fuck what have I been doing!

I still haven't gone travelling

I still haven't...

I wish I...

I should have..."

NO. NO THANK YOU.

Lad's and Lasses I'm inviting you to join this journey of mine, the mission to discover and CHASE our crazy dreams, whether that be to run a marathon, backpack travel entire continents, buy a $5 million dollar car, mountain bike around the world, start a business, end a job, move overseas, become a missionary, learn a language, start a YouTube channel or become the best in the world at what YOU DO BEST.

Whatever your little dream is, that little itch you have inside you, that little feeing of discomfort, that you should be doing something else. That thing you love doing that pops up in your mind like 'HEY' when your eating breakfast, 'HEY' when you're at work, 'HEY' when your working out or 'HEY' when you're trying to sleep. YOOHOO.

As for me, I've got plenty. Just shy of two years ago, in 2017, an old family friend from England came over to visit us in Australia. I hadn't seen him since we were about 5, so I really was meeting him properly for the first time. They stayed for two days, but a brotherhood was born. He has now become a brother for life. We share dreams, visions and drive.

One of my biggest, most crazy dreams has been to visit and live in New York. No matter the cost, I would make it work. I know the city vibe isn't for everyone but man I LOVE IT. Turns out, so does my friend from England. Now we have an overriding goal and desire for our lives, where we are heading, a shared goal and shared direction. To live in New York, and to MAKE IT in New York. We even came up with a name for ourselves- the NYA. New York Aspirers.

Countless other dreams occupy my mind, to buy a Koenigsegg and Pagani (really, really expensive cars), to buy my parents a house and retire them, to live debt free, to backpack travel through Canada, down through North America and down through South America. To get into a video with Yes Theory. To get onto Andy Frisella's MFCEO Project podcast and onto the Ed Mylett show. To start a hugely successful brand with my best friend. To start a succesful YouTube Chanel. To build or help build a movement that helps a TONNE of people live better lives and also makes a tonne of money. To stay fit and healthy my whole life so that when I have grandkids I can be that boss grandad who looks like a fucking MACHINE in a suit, and still has a sick sense of fashion.

There's some of my dreams. What are yours? Do what I did yesterday. Brainstorm every single thing that you ever want to do in you life. But don't limit yourself. Think of EVERYTHING. But get rid all the limiting thoughts.

"I can't... I'm too old... too young... too out of shape... too poor".

GET RID OF THEM. Give yourself a break will you?????

It may sound silly but become a kid again. Dream. Dream elastic dreams, inspiring, out of this world dreams. Write down anything that comes to mind. Be REALLY weird. Really crazy. Some of mine were: see amazing sunsets from all over the world, mountain bike all over the world, to fly.

Then go through that list and label each one- give it a time frame on when it could be done by. E.g 'run a marathon- 1 year', 'retire my parents- 15 years', 'learn Russian- 2 years'. Then get a page and divide it into five headings:

5 Year Goals

10 Year Goals

15 Year Goals

20 Year Goals

LIFE GOALS

Then figure out how to make them work.

OK BACK DOWN TO EARTH.

This blog is going to focus on a few different themes:

Personal development- where I bring to you concepts, tricks and techniques I have learnt from my research that can help improve your life. Trust me, I'm not an expert, but these are all proven and taught by REAL SUCCESSES.

There's a section for dreams- where I announce my dreams and allow you to announce yours, and where I keep a little journal of things that come to my mind.

There's also a little random section where you NEVER KNOW what you're going to read- it could be little pieces of creative writing that I have written, posts about cars, about any topic that interests me

Read what you want, this is meant to be a buffet, not a orderly 3 course meal. SO- come along and join the NYA. Become an Aspirer, find YOUR New York.

Thats all for the first one, thats an idea of what this is about.

See you next time!! Until then, keep moving forward.

Misha.

Something Small

The pure clarity, peace and awe that a sunset inspires

The simply complex beauty of natures canvas

The spot of peace it provides in a tempest of thoughts
