Greetings!!!
Just a short post today, some quick takeaways from the interview between Mark Bouris and teenage prodigy Jack Bloomfield.
I really enjoyed this interview, especially the parts about Jack's view on the schooling system because I feel the same way. It suits some people and some professions, but no longer should everyone be subjected to the same system. There are other ways to get where you want in life, and some of the largest companies like Apple and Google are no longer requiring their employees to have college/ uni degrees!
I loved the representation of his parents and how supporting they were, I wish I had grown up in a similar household, but I’ve found my own path. It’s a brilliant example of how I aspire to parent my future children. As a young entrepreneur I think one of the main things this showed me was that I just need to START doing something, no matter what situation I am in in relation to my finances and age. It’s never too late or too early to start. Anyone can start something online; the tools are all out there and the world it literally abundant in opportunity. As he says, if you are wanting to get into business, then why not just start and learn? Learn from the countless books, social profiles and other successful people out there. That way, when your fellow business students graduate, you will have 5 years real life experience on top of them. That provides me with hope and was my main take away, helping inspire me to keep working on my own projects at home and leaping upon opportunities that present themselves, particularly one business project that has arisen at my gym.
I also loved how self-aware Jack was, it’s not often we see someone that young with so much clarity about himself, his mind and where he is at personally. As Mark said, the way he had a great, meaningful answer for every single question was incredible. i aspire to have his level of confidence one day, confidence born from experience.
Thanks for reading! See you next time. Until then, keep moving forward.

Something Small
The comfort of being inside your home while a storm rages
Inside, you feel untouchable
Sheltered
Yet strangely vulnerable
Wind whips
Rain ravishes
Yet in your little bubble, the air is still.
